| Medical, Veterinary Camp conducted | | | early times report
Poonch, Jan 11: Indian Army organised a free medical and veterinary camp on 10 January 2026 at Pir Topa village under Operation Sadbhavana for the Financial Year 2025-26. Army doctor along with local civilian doctor from the area were present to assist the patients. Free health check-up & medicines were provided to the patients. Requisite consultation, vaccination and medicines for the livestock were provided for a total strength of 184 locals (including 65 x Female, 85 x Male, 34 x Children), in addition 178 Animals (including eight Cows, 90 x Hens, 10 Horses, five Dogs, 65 x Sheep & Goats) who availed medical and veterinary treatment benefits. The Medical camp stationed in Pir Topa brought together a dedicated team of one doctor of Indian Army and three doctors from civil, in addition to ten support staff. The medical camp was organized to help the local populace who are residing at remote areas of Poonch District for leading a normal and healthy life, which is otherwise challenging considering the terrain and weather conditions. Free health check-up and medicines were provided to the patients. Requisite consultation, vaccination and medicines were provided by Medical Officer for the people to help the invitees avail medical treatment benefits. |
