Samba, Jan 11: A free medical camp was successfully organized on January 11, 2026, at Baba Lal Ji Mandir near District Hospital Samba with the aim of creating health awareness and providing medical assistance to the general public. The main focus of the camp was to spread awareness about the harmful effects of indiscriminate consumption of analgesics (painkillers), which can lead to serious side effects including kidney damage. Dr. Bias Dev, Associate Professor at GMC Jammu, delivered an informative lecture highlighting the risks of self-medication and urged people to consult qualified doctors before taking painkillers regularly.
