JAMMU, Jan 12: Acting promptly on missing reports, Jammu Police successfully traced two missing persons from the jurisdictions of Police Post Manwal and Police Post Pouni Chak
Police Post Manwal traced a missing girl (name withheld), resident of Village Chillarh, Tehsil Dansal, District Jammu, who had gone missing on 08-01-2026. On receipt of the complaint, a missing report was immediately entered in the Daily Diary and a dedicated police team was constituted.
Through sustained efforts, technical assistance, and human intelligence, the missing girl was successfully traced and reunited with her family after completion of all legal formalities.
Similarly, Police Post Pouni Chak traced a missing person namely Pratham Sharma S/o Rajinder Kumar Sharma R/o H. No. 511, Anand Nagar, Patta Chungi, Bohri, whose missing report had been lodged on 10-01-2026. The missing person was traced safely and reunited with his family after observing due legal procedures.
Accordingly, both missing reports have been closed.
