JAMMU, Jan 12: The President of the National Conference and former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Farooq Abdullah, on Tuesday visited the residence of Ajaz Ahmed Jan, MLA Poonch, to express his heartfelt condolences on the sad demise of the respected mother of Atiqa Begum Jan, DDC Mandi, Poonch.
During the visit, Dr. Abdullah conveyed his deep sorrow and extended sympathies to Ajaz Jan and the bereaved family. He prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and for strength and patience to the family to bear this irreparable loss. Dr. Abdullah recalled the values of compassion, dignity, and simplicity embodied by the departed, describing the loss as a deeply personal moment for both the family and the party.
Ajaz Jan thanked Dr. Abdullah for his presence and support during this difficult time, stating that such gestures reflect the spirit of empathy and solidarity that binds the party leadership with its workers.
