Best Dancer of J&K 2026 organises with Grand Enthusiasm at Jammu

Jammu, Jan 14: The Acharya National Culture Activity NGO successfully organised the “Best Dancer of J&K 2026 – Dance & Fancy Dress Competition” at Government Polytechnic College, Vikram Chowk, Jammu. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from children representing various schools and reputed dance academies across Jammu, who mesmerised the audience with their talent, confidence, and vibrant performances.
The programme was graced by Chief Guest Mr. Amit Sharma, IAS, Director Census, Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh. Prominent dignitaries included Mr. Devinder Seth, social activist; Mr. Jasmeet Singh, JKAS, RTO Jammu; Sh. Pritam Chand, Senior Leader BSP; Mr. Hitesh Badyal, Founder, Nirvana Academy; Sh. Subash Chander, Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Joint Action Committee; Mr. Nirmal Mattoo, noted singer; Mr. Gurpreet Singh; Mr. Deepak Kumar Pajgotra; Sh. Raj Shavotra, Show Director and Organiser; and Mr. Vikas Choudhary, Judge and Managing Director, Pulse Dance Academy graced the occasion as Guests of Honour.
The dignitaries appreciated the high level of performances and applauded the confidence and creativity of the young participants. They emphasised that such cultural initiatives play a crucial role in nurturing artistic talent, boosting self-confidence, and providing a positive platform for children to express themselves.
Results of the Competition were announced in various categories. In the Sub Junior Solo category, the first prize was bagged by Aadya Sharma, Aarya Gupta, and Samaira Gupta, while Siraj, Saanvi Rajput, Bhoomika, and Kriyan Gupta secured the second prize. The third prize went to Aadhya Sharma, Yashita Raj, Vidhaan Gupta, Trisha Kapoor, Sabera, Aadhya Gupta, and Manyata Verma.
In the Fancy Dress Competition, Pavit Singh Bagga won the first prize, followed by Jiya Shavotra and Netanya Bagga as second prize winners, while Naman Mattoo and Urvi Mattoo secured the third prize.
In the Junior Solo category, the first prize was awarded to Amaira, Sem, Kajal, Hargun, Adhvika, and Anaya, while the second prize went to Viaan Raj, Anvi, Naman Raj, Samaira, Anshika, Palak, Niklesh, and Meghna. The third prize was secured by Lovika, Navanya, Preeti Devi, Adwita, Dhrumit, Kiara, Manasavi, Udhnya, Taapsee, Lakshika, Dev Dogra, Khawaish, Divya, Pavika, Sanjana, Kyna, and Manasbani.
In the Senior Solo category, Aditya Singh and Kamlesh secured the first prize, Hemshekha, Ayshi Sharma, Nawya Sharma, Shivalika, and Deepak Pop won the second prize, while Drishti Sharma, Diksha Sharma, Preeti Ahirwar, Bageshwari Sharma, Sanvi Bhatia, and Suzain claimed the third prize.
In Group Dance, the Sub Junior Group First Prize was jointly won by Acharya Academy for Dance & Fitness, Shamrock School Narwal, and Naveen Shiksha Academy Narwal. In the Junior Group category, Acharya Academy for Dance & Fitness won the first prize, The Lion Dance Studio secured the second prize, and Acharya Academy for Dance & Fitness again bagged the third prize.
In the Duo Category, the Sub Junior Duo First Prize went to Hinya & Mehar. In the Junior Duo category, Shivanya & Trisha secured the first prize, while Seerat & Sneha and Dhrumit & Naman jointly won the second prize.
In the Trio Category, the Sub Junior Trio First Prize was bagged by Kaaranya, Hazel, and Hinaya, while Anamay, Medhansh, and Rida secured the second prize. The Senior Trio category winners were Mandy, Raghav, and Shubham.
