Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 15: Students of Humanity Public School Bassi Kalan Bari Brahmana actively participated in the Swami Vivekanand Jayanti Celebrations 2026, organised by Vishwasthali, a Social and Cultural Organisation, at Basholi. The event was conducted with the aim of promoting the ideals, teachings, and philosophy of Swami Vivekanand among students and youth through a series of intellectually enriching and creative competitions, encouraging young minds to imbibe values of self-belief, discipline, and social responsibility. A team of ten students represented Humanity Public School in a variety of events including Reel Making, Essay Writing, Poetry, Painting, Symposium, Song, and Quiz competitions. The participating students were Sunny Kumar, Gurvinder Kumar, Bhumika Charak, Shubam Singh, and Bhumika Kar of class 12th, Anshika Verma and Nandini Jaral of class 10th, Varsha Sharma and Navya Bhadouria of class 9th and Pranav Singh Charak of class 8th. The students demonstrated remarkable enthusiasm, creativity, confidence, and awareness during the programme, reflecting their strong preparation and commitment. The students were accompanied by Music Teachers Rajan Kumar, Kumar Abhilash and Hindi Lecturer, Shivani Bandral, whose continuous guidance, motivation, and support played a crucial role in grooming the students and ensuring their effective participation in the event. Adding to the pride and honour of the institution, Bhumika Kar bagged the 3rd prize in the Painting Competition, earning accolades for her artistic excellence and thoughtful portrayal. Her achievement brought laurels to the school and stood as a testimony to the creative talent nurtured at Humanity Public School. Upon their return, the participating students were warmly received and felicitated during the morning assembly by Principal Mr. Gaurav Charak, Vice Principal Mrs. Anku Charak, In-charges of distinguished wings, along with staff members and fellow students, who applauded their efforts and celebrated their achievements with great enthusiasm. While addressing the gathering, Principal Gaurav Charak expressed immense pride in the students for actively engaging in platforms that promote cultural awareness, intellectual growth and holistic development. He congratulated the achievers and mentors and emphasized that participation in such events not only nurtures talent but also instils confidence, discipline, leadership qualities, and moral values inspired by great visionaries like Swami Vivekanand, preparing students to become responsible and enlightened citizens of the nation. |
