JAMMU, Jan 15: The chief guest, Shabnam Kamili, Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Administrative Reforms and Inspections (ARI) Department along with other Senior Officers of Administrative Department, today inaugurated the newly established office of the Director Press, Jammu & Kashmir at CPO Chowk Jammu. She emphasized the role of Director Press in ensuring transparent and timely dissemination of Government directions to the Government Presses for better printing services to Government department. She stated that the establishment of the new office would strengthen the functioning of both the presses situated at Jammu/Srinagar and build better co-ordination. the new office also played a vital role in bridging the gap between both the presses and will significantly enhance administrative efficiency and improve coordination in the functioning of Government presses. Commissioner/Secretary expressed hope that the new office infrastructure would provide a conducive working environment and enable the department to discharge its responsibilities more effectively. Director Press, J&K, Aijaz Ahmad Akhoon along with senior officers and staff of the department, were present on the occasion. The event concluded with a vote of thanks |
