Piping ceremony of newly promoted police personnel held at District Police Ramban

RAMBAN, Jan 15: A piping ceremony was held today at the District Police Headquarters, Ramban, to honour the dedication, commitment, and exemplary service of police personnel who have recently been promoted to the next rank.
The ceremony was presided over by the Senior Superintendent of Police Ramban, Arun Gupta, JKPS, and was attended by senior officers including Addl. SP Ramban Mujeeb Ur Rehman, JKPS; Dy. SP Headquarters Ramban Viqar Younus Bhat, JKPS; and Dy. SP Operations Ramban Ms. Manisha Kumari, JKPS.
While congratulating the promoted officials, SSP Ramban Arun Gupta, JKPS, emphasized that promotion brings with it enhanced responsibilities and greater accountability. He urged the officers to continue serving the department and the public with dedication, integrity, professionalism, and a strong sense of duty.
During the ceremony, the promoted personnel were formally decorated with their new rank insignia by the SSP Ramban and other senior officers amid applause from fellow officers and colleagues. The piping ceremony symbolized not only the elevation in rank but also the trust and responsibility reposed in them by the department.
The event concluded with a group photograph and light refreshments. The occasion proved to be a proud and motivating moment for the entire police fraternity, reinforcing their commitment towards maintaining law and order, security, and public service.
