UDHAMPUR, Jan 16: During naka checking at Naka Point Round Domail, a police party intercepted one person coming from Manwal towards Udhampur for checking. During questioning, the individual disclosed his identity as Tariq Saleem S/o Ghulam Nabi, R/o Nagam, Tehsil & District Ramban, A/P Bharat Nagar, Udhampur
During personal search of the said person, 3.81 grams of heroin-like substance was recovered from his possession.
Accordingly, a case FIR No. 14/2026 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Udhampur, and investigation into the matter has been taken up.
