Chandigarh/Malerkotla, Jan 17: The sacrifices of the Namdhari sect for the cause of India’s freedom, protection of faith and upholding of human values will remain etched in golden letters in the annals of Indian history, said Punjab Cabinet Minister S. Hardeep Singh Mundian, while addressing the state level martyrdom function organised at the Namdhari Shaheedi Memorial, Malerkotla, in memory of 66 Namdhari martyrs.
The Cabinet Minister said that the Namdhari sect stands as a living example of simplicity, truthfulness, humility and sacrifice.
