Early Times Report

Jammu, Jan 17: Mathwar Dev Sthan, located about 40 kilometres from Jammu, witnessed a spiritually vibrant atmosphere today as sacred rituals were performed with great devotion and traditional fervour. The revered shrine, where Baba Yash Pal Ji has been selflessly serving from several years, became a centre of spiritual energy and collective prayer.
On January 16, a special invitation was extended to Brahmins, and religious ceremonies were conducted strictly as per Vedic traditions. Around 200 to 250 vidyarthis participated in the holy proceedings and performed Gayatri Pooja at the sacred Mathwar Dev Sthan. A Havan (Yagya) was also organised, creating an atmosphere filled with sacred chants and positive spiritual vibrations.
With these rituals, the auspicious beginning of Basant Panchami celebrations is formally marked. It was announced that the Basant Panchami festival will be celebrated from January 21 to 23.
Every year, lakhs of devotees visit the shrine from far-off places, including regions outside Jammu and kashmir, to seek the blessings of Baba Ballo ji Maharaj during this sacred festival.
During the ceremony, Baba Yash Pal Ji offered prayers for peace, harmony, and prosperity of the nation, expressing heartfelt wishes for the country’s progress, welfare of all citizens, and overall national development. He prayed for lasting peace across the nation and for Baba Ballo Maharaj Ji’s divine grace to remain upon all.
Baba Yash Pal Ji also appealed to devotees and the general public to participate in the upcoming Basant Panchami celebrations and visit Mathwar Dev Sthan to seek blessings, thereby strengthening the values of unity, spirituality, and collective well-being.
