Bank of Baroda inaugurates First Phygital Branch of Chandigarh Zone at Sector-22

CHANDIGARH, Jan 19: Bank of Baroda inaugurated its Sector-22 Phygital Branch in Chandigarh on 16 January 2026, marking the launch of the first Phygital Branch of the Chandigarh Zone. The branch was inaugurated by Lalit Tyagi, Executive Director, Bank of Baroda, and Shri Sabhaik Singh, General Manager and Zonal Head, Chandigarh Zone. Addressing the gathering, Lalit Tyagi said that the new Phygital Branch strengthens the Bank's presence in Chandigarh and reflects its commitment to providing modern and customer-centric banking services. The branch will offer digital banking facilities, payment solutions, and personalised banking services, providing customers with a seamless and efficient banking experience.
Sabhaik Singh encouraged customers to strengthen their association with the Bank and avail its wide range of services. The event was attended by Rajesh Kumar Sharma, Deputy General Manager (Business Development), Devraj Banswal, Regional Head, Kailash Rawat, Deputy Regional Head, Abhinav Sharma, Branch Head, along with customers and staff members.

Bank of Baroda inaugurated its Sector-11 Panchkula Branch, Chandigarh on 16 January 2026. The branch was inaugurated by Lalit Tyagi, Executive Director, Bank of Baroda, and Sabhaik Singh, General Manager and Zonal Head, Chandigarh Zone.
Addressing the gathering, Lalit Tyagi said that the new premises mark an important step in strengthening the Bank's operations and will provide a better working environment for staff, enabling improved customer service. He appreciated the efforts of the team and termed it a collective achievement of the Zone.
The branch is equipped with modern facilities to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
