JAMMU, Jan 19: Shri Ram Sena (SRS) paid solemn tributes to Paratrooper Havildar Gajendra Singh, who attained martyrdom after succumbing to critical injuries sustained during a fierce gunfight with terrorists in the upper reaches of Kishtwar district. The brave soldier was grievously injured while leading an anti-terror operation and later laid down his life in the line of duty. Meanwhile, a massive search and cordon operation entered its second day on Monday as security forces intensified efforts to track down the hiding terrorists. Paying rich tributes, Shri Ram Sena (SRS) UT President Rajiv Mahajan saluted the supreme sacrifice of Havildar Gajendra Singh and said that the nation will forever remain indebted to its brave sons who protect the country’s sovereignty and integrity at the cost of their lives. Mahajan expressed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul, asserting that such sacrifices strengthen the nation’s resolve to fight terrorism. |
