UDHAMPUR, Jan 21: As part of the ongoing Vande Mataram Phase-II campaign, the Area Marketing Office Udhampur today organised an awareness-cum-sensitization programme at Panchayat Ghar Roun-I.
The programme was held under the overall supervision of Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Saloni Rai to educate farmers, self-help groups and other stakeholders about the employment-generation and livelihood enhancement schemes, including PMFME and HADP.
During the camp, the participants were sensitised to the benefits, eligibility criteria and registration procedure of these schemes to encourage entrepreneurship and sustainable income generation in the rural sector.
Besides, a plantation drive was also conducted in the area. Citrus fruit plants were distributed among the participants to promote environmental sustainability and horticulture development. Formers PRI members of the area were also present and actively participated in the programme, ensuring community involvement and outreach at the grassroots level. |
