Early Times Report JAMMU, Feb 4: Govt. Gandhi Memorial (GGM) Science College, Jammu, today organized a high-impact awareness program on "Mission Yuva-Udyam Jagriti 4.0: Unlocking the Entrepreneurial Potential of Youth." The event was held under the patronage of Prof. (Dr.) Romesh Kumar Gupta, Principal of GGM Science College, who has been instrumental in driving academic and extra-curricular excellence at the institution. The program was formally initiated with the welcome address given by Prof. Mona Sethi, Convener Stud Welfare and Monitoring Committee who provided information to the participating students regarding Mission Yuva. The Nodal Officer for Mission yuva, Dr. Vishal Sharma, Associate Professor Govt. College for Women (GCW), Udhampur the resource person of the event, provided an in-depth analysis of the "Udyam Jagriti 4.0" framework. He emphasized that the mission is designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and industrial application, providing students with the necessary roadmap to tap into government support, digital skill modules, and venture capital opportunities. The session saw enthusiastic involvement from more than 150 students across various departments and semesters. The lecture was followed by a vibrant interaction where students explored how to transition from traditional career paths to becoming leaders in the startup ecosystem. Dr. Vandana Khajuria, HOD English Department, presided over the event and highlighted its significance. In her address, she underscored the critical importance of such awareness programs in the current economic climate. |
