Desh Bhagat University and DBU Americas School of Medicine Announce Landmark Initiatives

LUDHIANA, Feb 4: Desh Bhagat University (NAAC GRADE A+) has expanded its reach by established a second campus Desh Bhagat University Americas School of Medicine (NAB Accreditation 3.11 out of 4 ) in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, located in the North American continent. This new campus offers students the opportunity to pursue a medical degree (MBBS program), furthering the university's commitment to providing quality education in the field of medicine.
Alongside DBU organized Carvaan-2026, an Education Partners Meet and Excellence Award Ceremony, at Ludhiana, bringing together leading institutions and educators.
During an interaction with media persons here today, Dr. Harsh Sadawarti ,Vice Chancellor of Desh Bhagat University, said that Desh Bhagat University (DBU), Punjab one of North India's leading institutions has announced two major educational initiatives aimed at expanding academic and global opportunities for students. The initiatives include ongoing admissions for the current batch of DBU Americas School of Medicine, offering a globally recognized MD program equivalent to MBBS, and the launch of the Desh Bhagat Entrance & Scholarship Test (DBEST), a unified national-level digital examination that serves as a single gateway for admissions and scholarships across seven professional streams.
He said that Desh Bhagat University Americas School of medicine is accredited and recognized by relevant authorities, it ensures that the education provided meets certain quality standards, which is essential for future licensure and practice. A comprehensive curriculum and experienced faculty attract students seeking quality medical education.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Harsh Sadawarti said that State-of-the-art infrastructure, modern laboratories, and well-equipped classrooms are the significant draw for students looking for a conducive learning environment. Desh Bhagat University Americas offers dedicated support and resources for preparing for the USMLE exams; it can be a significant advantage for students aiming to practice medicine in the United States. Graduates from DBUA may have good career prospects, whether they choose to practice in St Vincent and the Grenadines, the U.S., or other international locations.
