Rajouri, Feb 10: In line with its ongoing commitment to preventive healthcare and civil-military cooperation, Indian Army’s 150 General Hospital under the aegis of Ace of Spades Division, conducted a comprehensive Women's Health Awareness & Medical Camp at the Government Girls Model Higher Secondary School, Rajouri. The camp was organized by a dedicated team of doctors from various specialties, including Medicine, Surgery, ENT, Ophthalmology and Dentistry, alongside nursing officers and paramedical staff. They provided general health check-ups, nutritional assessments and counselling sessions. During the interactions with the students, special emphasis was placed on menstrual hygiene, anaemia prevention, balanced nutrition, personal hygiene and the importance of timely medical consultations for women-specific health issues. The camp also saw enthusiastic participation from the students, who delivered short lectures highlighting the significance of education in empowering girls and improving health outcomes. The Indian Army reaffirmed its resolve to continue conducting similar people-centric healthcare initiatives in support of national health goals.
