| GDC organizes enrolment promotion visit at GBHSS | | | Early Times Report
THANNAMANDI, Feb 11: Under the guidance of Principal, Dr. Shamim Ahmed Azad, Govt. Degree College Thannamandi, today conducted an awareness and enrollment promotion session at Govt. Boys Higher Secondary School Thannamandi by members of the Counselling and Enrollment Promotion Committee. The visiting team comprised of Prof. Fatima Parveen(Convener), Prof. Rumy Dar and Dr Meenakshi Sharma. Addressing the gathering, Prof.Fatima Parveen encouraged students to dream big and emphasized the advantages of pursuing higher studies at their nearest institution. She highlighted the academic environment and student-centric facilities available at GDC Thannamandi, including its fully automated library, well-equipped science laboratories and the language lab that supports holistic learning and skill development. The session aimed to motivate students to thoughtfully plan their academic future and make informed decisions about higher education. The students showed keen interest throughout the interaction, raising thoughtful questions about courses, facilities and career opportunities. These queries were patiently and effectively addressed by Prof. Rumy Dar and Dr. Meenakshi Sharma, making the session highly interactive and informative.
