Early Times Report RAMBAN, Feb 11: An Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme (EAP) was organized at the Conference Hall, Government ITI, District Ramban, with the aim of creating awareness among youth and aspiring entrepreneurs about self-employment opportunities and various entrepreneurship support schemes of the Government. The programme was organized under the aegis of the Ministry of MSME, Government of India, under the guidance of Sh. A.K. Tamaria, Joint Director, MSME-DFO, Jammu, and the Deputy Commissioner, Ramban. The programme included addresses by Rajesh Kumar, Assistant Director, MSME-DFO, Jammu; Sh. Ravinder Kumar, GM DIC, Ramban, Sh. Kuldeep Singh, Project Manager, DIC, Sh. Parvez Iqbal Bhat, Principal Govt. ITI, Ramban, Sh. Tasneef Rasool District Nodal Officer, JKEDI, Ramban; Sh. Harvinder Singh, Director, RSETI, Ramban, O?icial from Handicrafts department and banking sector. The resource persons briefed the participants on the objectives of the Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme, flagship MSME schemes, industrial incentives, skill development initiatives, entrepreneurship training, handholding support mechanisms, and availability of institutional finance for setting up micro and small enterprises. An interactive question-answer session was held during which participants raised queries related to training, finance, and enterprise establishment. The programme witnessed active participation from around 110 participants, and was appreciated for providing practical insights into entrepreneurship and self-employment avenues.
