Sodhi Inspires DPS Nagbani with visionary address on excellence, values

JAMMU, Feb 11: S. S. Sodhi, Pro-Vice Chairperson and Director of DPS Schools J&K, addressed the staff and students of Delhi Public School, Nagbani, in an inspiring and forward-looking session that motivated the entire school community. His address reflected a deep commitment to academic excellence, character building, and the holistic development of students.
Interacting warmly with the students, he encouraged them to prepare with dedication and confidence for their forthcoming Board Examinations. He advised them to remain focused, disciplined, and positive, reminding them that examinations are opportunities to demonstrate their hard work and perseverance. Wishing all Board aspirants great success, he urged them to face every challenge with courage, clarity, and self-belief.
Emphasising that education goes beyond textbooks and marks, he highlighted the importance of value-based learning, integrity, empathy, and leadership. He motivated students to build strong communication skills, strengthen their reading and analytical abilities, and strive for excellence not only in academics but also in co-curricular and life skills. He reiterated that true success lies in becoming responsible, confident, and compassionate individuals who contribute meaningfully to society.
Addressing the teachers, Sodhi acknowledged their pivotal role in shaping young minds and guiding the nation's future. He encouraged them to prepare proactively for the new academic session with renewed enthusiasm and innovative thinking. Stressing the need to adapt to changing times, he urged educators to integrate modern teaching methodologies and effectively adopt the latest educational technologies and gadgets to enhance classroom engagement and learning outcomes. He also underscored the importance of competency-based education, experiential learning, and continuous professional growth.
Highlighting the significance of strong parent-teacher collaboration, he emphasized that mutual understanding, transparent communication, and shared responsibility between parents and educators are essential for the holistic development of students. He noted that when schools and families work together with trust and shared vision, children flourish academically and emotionally.
The session concluded with a renewed sense of purpose and collective commitment to uphold the ethos of Delhi Public School Nagbani and continue striving for excellence in all spheres. The school Principal Raj Kumar Verma, and staff expressed heartfelt gratitude to the school management for their visionary guidance and inspiring words.
