FICCI FLO JKL hosts 5th edition of Trailblazer awards, celebrating courage, leadership on National Women's Day

JAMMU, Feb 13: The FICCI FLO Jammu, Kashmir & Ladakh Chapter proudly hosted the 5th Edition of the Trailblazer Awards, an inspiring evening dedicated to celebrating the courage, resilience, and achievements of exceptional women who have carved their own paths and made a meaningful impact in society. Held on National Women's Day, the event became even more significant as it honoured the strength and spirit of women who continue to lead and inspire.
The ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of Chief Guest, Cabinet Minister Shri Satish Sharma ji, whose encouraging words and support added immense value to the occasion. His presence reflected strong institutional support for recognizing and empowering women achievers.
The event also welcomed the distinguished jury members - Mr. Pradeep Dutta, Mr. Siddharth Dogra, and Mr. Suminder Kaul - whose thoughtful evaluation helped identify and honour women who have shown extraordinary determination and leadership in their respective fields
The Trailblazer Awards 2026 recognized outstanding contribution across various domains. In Public Service, the awardees were Ms. Babila Rakwal (JKAS), Ms. Sunaina Sharma Mehta (JKAS) and Ms. Seerat Baji (IAS). In the Forces category, Ms. Sarah Rizvi (IPS) was awarded. In the category for the Medical Fraternity, Dr. Robina Mirza , and Dr. Ritu Mishra were awarded. Receiving awards in the Education, Academic and Literature category were Dr. Seema Malpotra and Ms. Vijaya Thakur. In the Culture & Heritage category, Ms. Harvinder Kour was awarded. Honoured in the Social Impact & Grassroot Leadership category were Ms. Neetu Dhar, Ms. Preeti Choudhary and Ms. Geetanjali Sharma. In the Entrepreneurship, Media & Entertainment category, the award winners were Ms. Samreen Kaur, Ms. Urmi Sharma & Ms. Poorva Prabha and Ms. Saisha Gupta. Representing the Hospitality category, Ms. Vasudha Prabhakar won the award.
Speaking on the occasion, Aarti Chowdhary, Chairperson, FICCI FLO JKL highlighted that celebrating these remarkable women on National Women's Day made the event even more meaningful. It was a fitting tribute to women who have turned challenges into opportunities and continue to illuminate the path for others.
