JAMMU, Feb 19: In a remarkable breakthrough showcasing the effective use of modern forensic technology, Police Post Pounichak has solved a theft case and recovered stolen gold ornaments. On receipt of a written complaint regarding theft in a residential house, FIR No. 11/2026 dated 09.01.2026 was registered at PS Domana U/S 331(3) and 305 of the BNS, and investigation was immediately set into motion. The scene of occurrence was secured and the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team was called to examine the spot. |
