Jammu/Samba, Feb 19: Humanity Public School, Bassi Kalan, Bari Brahmana hosted a special assembly, beautifully intertwining the celebrations of Ramzan and Shivaji Jayanti, fostering a spirit of unity and cultural appreciation among its students and staff.
A heartfelt presentation was given by Parachi Choudhary of Class 9th who shared insights into the significance of these two events. Students showcased their talents through poetry recitation wherein, Shahnaz of Class 7th and Navdeep of Class 4th recited meaningful verses. Danish of Class 3rd and Hanan of Class 5th also presented thoughtful poems, reflecting the spirit of the celebrations. A thoughtful topic was presented by Saqib and Parwinder of Class 6th, encouraging students to reflect on the values represented by Ramzan and Shivaji Jayanti. The program also featured an insightful teacher’s speech delivered by Mrs. Suman Rawat, who elaborated on the historical importance and inspiring legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
The program concluded with inspiring words from the Principal, Mr. Gaurav Charak. He emphasized, “Today, we did not just commemorate events, we celebrated the very essence of humanity that binds us all. Every festival, every historical figure teaches us about peace and courage.” He further said that seeing our students embrace this unity fills us with immense pride.
Vice Principal, Mrs. Anku Charak appreciated the efforts of teachers and students for organising beautiful and informative assembly. She commended their dedications and further encourage the students to continue participating enthusiastically in such activities.
The assembly concluded on the meaningful note, leaving everyone inspired to uphold the values of unity, respect and harmony in their lives.
