Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Feb 20: A massive health camp was today inaugurated by MLA Udhampur East, Ranbir Singh Pathania, at Government High School (GHS) Rounmail. The camp was organised by the 137 Battalion of CRPF under 'Civic Action Programme' in collaboration with local police, Health Department, ISM (AYUSH), and with active support of local PRIs.
During the camp, a large number of beneficiaries availed free medical check-ups, diagnostic services, and medicines. Free medicines, including allopathic, Ayurvedic, and other essential drugs, were distributed among the attendees.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Pathania lauded the efforts of CRPF and allied departments for organising the outreach programme in the rural area. He emphasized that "Health for All" is the core slogan of the Modi Government and stressed the importance of preventive healthcare.
He further stated that Fit India has become a national movement and urged people to adopt healthy lifestyles. "We must strive to remain fit and reduce excessive dependence on medicines. Prevention is always better than cure, and health consciousness is the need of the hour," he added.

Among those present on the occasion included social worker, Mr. Ashok Padha, Sarpanch Krishan Singh, Mr. Dara Singh, President Vyapar Mandal, Mr. Muna, DSP Prahlad Sharma, Mr. Isher Singh, Headmaster of the school and several other prominent citizens and officials.
