| Dogra Higher Secondary School, JMC organized Anti-Drug campaign | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Feb 24: To spread awareness among students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and to encourage them to lead a healthy, disciplined life, "Anti-Drug Campaign" was organized today at Dogra Higher Secondary School, Shastri Nagar, in collaboration with the JMC, Jammu The programme aimed at sensitizing young minds about the dangers of substance abuse and promoting the message of a drug-free society. The event was graced by Principal Major Bhawna Devi, Retd, HM Mr. Ganesh Dass and Mr. Ajay Randhawa Assistant Supervisor, JMC. Senior students took a "Say No to Drugs" pledge and reaffirmed their commitment against drugs in this awareness program. The pledge aligns with the Drug-Free India campaign, inspiring youth to stay away from narcotics. Students vowed to keep their families, friends, and society drug-free. In her address Principal Major Bhawna Devi, Retd explained how drugs destroy lives by impairing judgment and health. Drug addiction leads to broken families and turning dreams into nightmares. You are the leaders of tomorrow; peer pressure may tempt, but saying "no" builds strength and respect. Surround yourself with positive influences like sports, studies, and hobbies that fuel success. |
