| CBC awareness campaign on VBG RAM G and Skill India at Basohli | | | Early Times Report KATHUA, Feb 24: The Central Bureau of Communication (CBC) organised an Integrated Outreach and Communication Programme on VB G RAM G Act 2025 and Skill India at Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI) here today. Additional Deputy Commissioner, Pankaj Bhagotra, attended the programme as the Chief Guest. Addressing the gathering, he emphasised the urgent need to create widespread awareness about various welfare schemes, particularly in rural areas. He urged the CBC to further intensify its campaign in remote regions to ensure maximum outreach. Highlighting key provisions of the VB G RAM G Act 2025, he underlined its importance in strengthening grassroots governance and rural development. Shokat Ali from the Rural Development Department elaborated on the salient features of the VB G RAM G Act, and its potential impact on rural communities. Laksh Nayyar from Skill Development Department stressed the importance of skill development in addressing unemployment. He remarked that Skill India has the potential to transform India from a developing nation into a developed one by empowering youth with industry-relevant skills. The event was also graced by Block Development Officer Basohli, Rajesh Kumar. In his welcome address, Rajesh Sharma, In-charge CBC, Kathua, briefed the gathering about the public awareness campaign on Centrally Sponsored Schemes launched by CBC across Jammu and Kashmir. |
