RHS hosts grand annual prize distribution ceremony

JAMMU, Feb 24: RHS celebrated its Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony with great enthusiasm, blending academic excellence with vibrant cultural performances. The program commenced with the auspicious lighting of the ceremonial lamp followed by Saraswati Vandana, invoking blessings for wisdom and success. Students then mesmerized the audience with a colourful Dogri dance, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the region. A soulful musical homage was presented in loving memory of Late Chairman Th. Gulchain Singh Charak. The heartfelt performance paid tribute to his visionary leadership, dedication and invaluable contribution to the growth of the institution. The tribute created an emotional atmosphere as the school fraternity remembered his enduring legacy with deep gratitude and reverence. The welcome address was delivered by the Principal, Anita Bhatia, who warmly greeted the illustrious guests, parents and students. She congratulated the achievers and appreciated the collective efforts of teachers and parents in nurturing excellence. The chief guest Surekha Charak-Chairperson SG Dogra Foundation, Special Guest ZEO Vijaypur-Surinder Balgotra, Dr Samar Dev Singh Charak--Secretary Dogra Educational Trust, Dr. Bela Charak--Principal Dogra Degree College, Adv. Gambhir Dev Singh Charak--Managing Director Rich Harvest School, Ruchi Charak-- Director Rich Harvest and Anita Bhatia-- Principal awarded prizes to the proud achievers for their outstanding academic performance. Special recognition was given to students who qualified prestigious competitive examinations NEET and JEE, bringing laurels to the school. Director Ruchi Charak, in her brief address, applauded the dedication of students and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence with determination and confidence. Surinder congratulated the high achievers in his motivating address. Managing Director Advocate Gambhir Dev Singhji Charak congratulated the awardees and emphasized the importance of discipline, hard work and strong moral values in achieving success.
Dr. Samar Dev Singh Charak, in his short speech, motivated students to aim high, stay focused and embrace challenges as opportunities for growth.
The ceremony concluded with the National Anthem, marking the end of a memorable and inspiring celebration.
