| Rajouri police recover 1.4 kg Charas; one arrested, vehicle seized | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Feb 24: Rajouri Police achieved a major success during naka checking at Tariq Bridge one person identified as Mohd Munir S/O Abdul Rashid resident of Dandote Tehsil Budhal District Rajouri was apprehended while traveling in a Maruti S-Presso bearing registration number JK11J-4222. During the search of the accused police recovered approx 1 kg and 400 grams of charas which falls under commercial quantity. The accused was arrested on the spot and the vehicle used for transportation of the contraband was seized.
In this regard a Case FIR No. 84/2026 under relevant Sections of the NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station. Further investigation is in progress.
