Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 26: Reconstruction & Beautification Project of Ziyarat Sharief Syed Kanju Shah (RA) was inaugurated by Jammu & Kashmir Waqf Board Chairperson Dr Syed Darakhshan Andrabi today at Jammu. The foundation for the mega project of the Sufi shrine was laid last year by the Waqf Board Chairperson and this project was completed within the project timeline. Dr Andrabi was accompanied by Special Officer of the Board Bashir Ahmad Bhat, Executive Magistrate Ishtiyaq Mohiuddin, Administrator of Jammu Abid Hussain, all Executive Officers, Imams and Khateebs and respectables from the Civil Society. Addressing the inauguration event, Dr Darakhshan said that this is yet another dream project of the Board in Jammu which has fulfilled the aspirations of the people having great devotion in the spiritual shrine. "High Quality reconstruction & beautification project for this shrine was taken up by the Board last year and we all are pleased to dedicate this project complete in all respects to the people. The historic work of the Board speaks loud and clear throughout Jammu & Kashmir. We are committed to continue this developmental mission in future too", said Syed Darakhshan.
She hailed the entire team of the Board for coordinated efforts to make things happen the way they are conceived with all proficiency and mastery of the construction craft and techniques. In reply to a question from media regarding some political adversaries raising questions about the Waqf management, the Chairperson said that transparent developmental mission of the Board pinches those who never believed in creating marvelous infrastructure at the Sufi shrines and they get irritated in jealousy by seeing the unimaginable happening in reality at our spiritual centers. She assured that the Board will continue the good work without allowing the things to be politicized and hijacked for personal gains.
