Balbir pays obeisance at Guru Ravi Dass Temple Sikanderpur

JAMMU, Feb 26: Balbir Ram Rattan, National General Secretary of the British Ravidasia Heritage Foundation (Indian Branch) and a devoted follower of Guru Ravi Dass Ji, paid obeisance at the revered Guru Ravi Dass Temple in Sikanderpur Kothey village of Bishnah tehsil during his recent visit to the area.
During his visit, Balbir Ram Rattan offered prayers and sought blessings from Guru Ravi Dass Ji for the well-being, prosperity, and unity of the community. He prayed for peace, progress, and harmony among all sections of society and expressed hope for continued social upliftment through collective efforts inspired by spiritual values.
Balbir Ram Rattan said that visiting sacred places like the Guru Ravi Dass Temple gives him immense pleasure and peace of mind. "Whenever I bow my head at such holy places, I feel spiritually rejuvenated and inspired to work selflessly for the upliftment of society," he remarked.
He added that seeking blessings from Guru Ravi Dass Ji strengthens his resolve to continue serving the community with dedication, sincerity, and humility. He emphasized that spiritual guidance plays a crucial role in shaping a compassionate and responsible society rooted in moral values.
Balbir Ram Rattan also appreciated the temple management committee for maintaining the sanctity and cleanliness of the sacred place. He lauded their consistent efforts in ensuring a serene and welcoming environment for devotees who visit the temple to offer prayers and seek spiritual solace. The dedication of the management in preserving the spiritual atmosphere of the temple is truly commendable and serves as an example for others.
Highlighting the teachings of Guru Ravi Dass Ji, Balbir Ram Rattan said that the great saint preached equality, brotherhood, and social justice. He emphasized that Guru Ji's message of universal love, unity, and harmony remains highly relevant in today's times and continues to serve as a guiding light for humanity.
He urged the community to follow the path shown by Guru Ravi Dass Ji and work collectively towards building a society free from discrimination, inequality, and social divisions.
