| Central Bureau of Communication Concludes Awareness Campaign on VB G RAM G and Skill India at village Treva in Arnia Block | | | Early Times Report NEW DELHI, Feb 28: The awareness campaign on VB G RAM G and Skill India, organised by the Central Bureau of Communication under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India (J&K and Ladakh Region), concluded successfully at the border village Treva of Arnia Block. Speaking on the occasion, Shri Rajesh Sharma, In-charge of programme highlighted the various provisions and objectives of the VB G RAM G Act 2025 and elaborated on the importance of Skill India in empowering rural youth and strengthening grassroots development. Dr. Viplove Sudan (JKAS), Block Development Officer, Arnia, spoke as a resource person and gave a detailed presentation on the key features and implementation aspects of the VB G RAM G Act 2025. He encouraged the local residents to actively participate in government initiatives for inclusive growth. Former Sarpanch of Treva, Smt. Balbir Kour, shared the milestones achieved by Panchayat Treva under various centrally sponsored schemes. She also highlighted the positive amendments made in Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) that align with the objectives of VB G RAM G. On the occasion, Shri Som Dutt Sharma delivered an informative address on Skill India and emphasized the growing need for skill development in the present socio-economic scenario. Among others present were Shri Rajesh Kumar, Panchayat Inspector; Shri Mahinder Charak; and Ms. Shaka, Panchayat Secretary. The programme featured a seminar and a drawing competition to engage participants and spread awareness effectively. The event concluded with a felicitation ceremony and light refreshments. |
