| 3 days workshop irganised by NSS Unit, Govt Degree College Neeli Nallah, Udhampur | | |  Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Feb 28: A three-day workshop was successfully organized by the NSS Unit of Government Degree College Neeli Nallah, Udhampur under the esteemed guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Seema Arora, Principal of the college. The workshop was convened and coordinated by Prof. Shaista Yasmeen, NSS Programme Officer. On the first day, NSS volunteers visited the Panchayat of the adopted village, Neeli Nallah, where they interacted with the local residents and discussed various community issues. On Second Day, an NSS Awareness Camp was organized in the college premises. On this occasion, a detailed lecture was delivered by Prof. Shaista Yasmeen (NSS PO) highlighting the role of NSS in personality development, social responsibility, and nation-building. The volunteers actively participated in awareness activities and community outreach programmes. They engaged with villagers to spread awareness on social and developmental issues, encouraging active public participation. On the concluding day, NSS volunteers visited the Government School Dhanni of the adopted village Neeli Nallah. They interacted warmly with the school students and delivered awareness speeches on education, hygiene, and moral values. The interactive session proved to be highly motivating for the young students.
The workshop concluded successfully with enthusiastic participation from NSS volunteers. Prof. Shaista Yasmeen, Convenor of the workshop, appreciated the dedication of the volunteers and encouraged them to continue serving society with commitment and sincerity.
