Early Times Report MANDI GOBINDGARH, Mar 2: Bank of India conducted a seminar on "Awareness on Digital Frauds in the Banking Industry" at Desh Bhagat University with enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members. The program commenced with a warm welcome to the Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh, Pro-Chancellor Dr. Tajinder Kaur and Vice Chancellor Dr. Harsh Sadawarti. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Rajesh Ranjan, Zonal Manager, Chandigarh Zone, Bank of India, who conducted the awareness session. Guests of Honour included Kumar Pramod Singh, Assistant General Manager; Amandeep Singh, Manager; and Aman Guleria, Assistant Manager, Bank of India. University dignitaries, faculty members, and students actively participated in the session. Amar Sharma, CFO of the university, was also present on the occasion. During the seminar, the Chief Guest highlighted the growing concerns of digital frauds and stressed the importance of cybersecurity in banking. He explained various types of digital banking frauds and shared preventive safety measures. Awareness videos were also screened to enhance understanding among students. |
