| More J&K Houses In Offing | | | Process to establish new J&K Houses across the country has gained momentum.
Recently Chief Minister Omar Abdullah chaired a meeting to review plans to establish new JK Houses in Dwarka in New Delhi and Mumbai and to revamp existing government properties across several states and Union Territories to strengthen Jammu and Kashmir’s presence nationwide.
Officials present in the meeting presented updates on the ongoing projects, budgetary requirements as well as future development plans aimed at strengthening the institutional infrastructure outside J&K.
The government seems keen on establishing the JK Houses in different states and the multiple infrastructure projects in different regions will be completed in a few months.
The Chief Minister has been maintaining that all upcoming and renovated JK House properties must showcase the rich cultural heritage and distinctive identity of the region.
