POONCH, Mar 15: The 23rd martyrdom anniversary of DySP Manjeet Singh was solemnly observed today by District Police Poonch, remembering the supreme sacrifice made by the brave officer in the line of duty.
On the occasion, a commemorative programme was organized wherein Senior Superintendent of Police Poonch, Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Additional Superintendent of Police Poonch, along with other senior officers of the civil and police administration, paid rich floral tributes to the martyr. Other prominent citizens of the district were also present on the occasion and paid their heartfelt tributes, remembering the courage and dedication of the fallen hero.
While paying homage, the officers highlighted the exemplary bravery and devotion to duty displayed by DySP Manjeet Singh, stating that his sacrifice continues to inspire the entire police fraternity. They reiterated that the sacrifices of such bravehearts will always remain a source of inspiration and a guiding light for the police force in upholding the ideals of service, courage, and integrity.
The programme concluded with officers, officials, and citizens paying homage and remembering the legacy of the martyr whose courage and sacrifice will always be remembered with pride and honour. |
