District Police Rajouri Organizes Volleyball Tournament in Nowshera

NOWSHERA, Mar 17: The District Police Rajouri successfully organized a volleyball tournament in Nowshera under its 'Civic Action Program.' A total of four teams participated in this tournament, wherein local youth showcased their talents with great enthusiasm and zeal. The final match of the tournament was played between Nowshera-A and the Kheri Volleyball Club, proving to be a highly thrilling contest. Delivering a stellar performance in this match, Nowshera-A clinched the championship title. ASP Nowshera, Baljit Singh, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. He was accompanied by SDPO Nowshera, Sahil Mahajan, and the Station House Officer (SHO) of Nowshera, Inspector Arjun Magotra. While encouraging the players, they emphasized that the youth should actively participate in sports activities and steer clear of vices such as drug abuse. The objective of this program, organized by the Police Department, is to inspire the youth toward positive engagements and to foster a healthy environment within the community.Local residents also appreciate this initiative and expressed their hope for the organization of similar events in the future. Speaking on the occasion, ASP Nowshera, Baljit Singh, extended his best wishes to all the young participants in the volleyball tournament. He stated that the District Police Rajouri constantly endeavors to raise awareness about sports among the youth and to provide them with a platform, thereby enabling them to stay away from drugs and focus on their goals. He urged them to secure a bright future through sports so that, in the times to come, they may play for the nation thereby bringing glory to their country, their district, their parents, and their village. He further affirmed that the District Police Rajouri would continue to organize such tournaments in the future to channel the energy of the youth in a constructive direction.
