68th Annual Award Function concludes at DAV College

AMRITSAR, Mar 18: DAV College, Amritsar proudly organized its 68th Annual Award Presentation Function in the college campus. The event celebrated the academic excellence, achievements, and all-round performance of the students.
The ceremony was graced by Hon'ble Sirivennela IPS, ADCP - City II, Commissionerate of Police, Amritsar, as the Chief Guest. His presence added prestige to the occasion, and his inspiring words motivated students to strive for innovation, creativity, and excellence in their respective fields. He appealed to the students to become responsible citizens of India.
The Principal, Dr. Amardeep Gupta, formally welcomed the Chief Guest. He expressed his gratitude to the chief guest for gracing the occasion. He introduced the guest as a man of duty and honour. He congratulated the awardees and encouraged all students to pursue excellence with dedication and perseverance. He also appreciated the efforts of the staff members for their continuous support in making the event a grand success
The function commenced with a foral welcome of the Chief Guest by the student of the year Sandeep Kaur (MSc Maths) and NCC cadet Nitish Sharma. It was followed by the presentation of Annual Report of the college by the Principal. Later, awards were presented to the meritorious students for their outstanding achievements in academics, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities. The ceremony highlighted the institution's commitment to nurturing talent and recognizing hard work.
The programme concluded on a note of pride and inspiration, leaving the audience motivated to achieve greater heights in the future.
The function was graced by the presence of various office bearers including Vice- Principal Prof Pardeep Celly, Registrar Prof. Surinder Kumar, Staff Secretary Dr Neeraj Gupta, Incharge Administration Dr Rajni Bala, and all the members of teaching and non-teaching fraternity of the college.
