JAMMU, Mar 21: Continuing its drive under Operation Kamdhenu, Jammu (Rural) Police foiled one bovine smuggling attempt in the jurisdiction of PS Nagrota and rescued 10 bovine animals. On reliable information, a police team of PS Nagrota laid a naka at Ban Toll Plaza. A Dumper (JK19A-2570) which was going towards Kashmir side attempted to flee after breaking the naka but was chased and intercepted. During checking, 10 bovines were found loaded without permission. The animals were rescued and the vehicle seized. |
