| Dr Darakhshan gets on spot appreciation from people for Eid arrangements | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 21: Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board Chairperson Dr Syed Darakhshan Andrabi today offered her Eid prayers at Dargah Hazratbal. More than one lakh people offered Eid prayers here. Waqf Board had put in all arrangements here for the biggest Eid congregation of J&K. After the prayers, the people appreciated Dr Andrabi and J&K Waqf Board for very impressive arrangements for the people. Dr Andrabi thanked the people for their acknowledgement of the Board's efforts. Speaking on the occasion Waqf Chairperson said that after many days of rainy season, we today saw a pleasant weather in Kashmir and the Board had erected water proof prayer spaces and also created dry spaces in the whole campus to accommodate & facilitate such a huge gathering smoothly. "Throughout the Union Territory of J&K, the Board had made preparations for the prayers at all major locations and we thank the people for their cooperation. We are humbled and inspired by the appreciation we got from the people for our efforts. We assure the people that the Board will serve them with more responsibility and dedication in future too", said Andrabi. Waqf Chairperson wished that this Eid brings peace and prosperity for our country and for the whole world. |
