Chandigarh University signs 19 MoUs with Prestigious International Universities from USA, France, UK

MOHALI, Mar 28: After three days of impactful global academic engagements, wide-ranging deliberations on collaboration on research and innovation, the 2nd edition of Global Partnership Conclave - 2026 culminated with signing of as many as 19 Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) with prestigious international universities on the final day of the conclave here at Chandigarh University on Saturday. More than 60 delegates representing 40 prestigious international universities from across 20 countries participated in the Chandigarh University organized Global Partnership Conclave - 2026 with central theme 'Strengthening Global Partnerships, Advancing Collaboration, Mobility and Innovation for a Smarter Future'.
While Denis Alipov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of India and Juan Antonio March Pujol Ambassador of Spain to India were the Chief Guests, Manoj Gupta, Provost Chair Professor, National University of Singapore was guest of honour on the opening day of the conclave. The global conclave witnessed participation from high-level delegations representing prestigious universities from across the world including Australia, Canada, France, United Kingdom, United States, Singapore, Czech Republic, Hungary, Russia, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, South Africa, Colombia, North Macedonia, Philippines, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Ethiopia among others.
On the concluding day of the conclave, Chandigarh University signed 19 MoUs with prestigious international universities from countries including the USA, France, United Kingdom, Malaysia, Hungary, Uzbekistan, South Africa among others.
These collaborations are aimed at fostering international student mobility, faculty exchange and collaborative research, thereby accelerating innovation and global knowledge exchange to provide global academic exposure to students.
Among the key collaborations, Chandigarh University signed MoU with IPSA - Institut Polytechnique des Sciences Avancées, France for a dual degree program (4 years in CU, one abroad) in Aerospace Engineering. Similarly, for offering MBA (1 year in CU, I abroad), Computer Science Engineering AI&ML and BCA (1 plus 3) dual degree program, Chandigarh University has tied-up with Royal Holloway, University of London.
CU also established partnerships with Universiti Teknologi MARA Malaysia and AI-Augmented Chandigarh University Lucknow signed partnership MoU with University of Szeged, Hungary. Apart from this CU also signed partnership MoUs with Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation, Malaysia, D Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University, Kazakhstan, Palacký University, Czech Republic, Southern Federal University, Russia and American International University, Bangladesh.
Chandigarh University signed an MoU with Samarkand State University, Uzbekistan, to offer dual degree programs in Engineering, Science, AI/ML and Biotechnology (2 years at CU, 2 years abroad) and in Psychology (1 year at CU, 1 year abroad). For faculty exchange, student exchange, and a BBA dual degree program (2 years at CU, 2 years in US), an MoU was signed with Saint Peter's University, USA.
Moreover, MoUs were signed with Cape Peninsula University of Technology, South Africa, for research and student exchange programs, as well as with Universidad EAN, Colombia and Kokand State University, Uzbekistan for academic partnerships. Chandigarh University, Mohali, along with AI-Augmented Chandigarh University, Uttar Pradesh, signed an MoU with the University of Huddersfield, UK for student exchange programmes. Additionally, Chandigarh University, Mohali, entered into MoUs with Mariano Marcos State University, Philippines and Iloilo Science and Technology University, Philippines for student exchange programs.
