Early Times Report MANDI GOBINDGARH, Mar 30: Marking the observance of World Tuberculosis Day 2026, Desh Bhagat Ayurvedic College and Hospital organized an awareness lecture to educate students and faculty about tuberculosis and its prevention. The programme was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Kulbhushan, director campus and Dr. Hem Raj, Principal. The keynote speaker, Dr. Indu, Assistant Professor in the Department of Rog Nidan evam Vikriti Vigyan, delivered a detailed lecture on tuberculosis. She explained the causes, symptoms, modes of transmission and harmful effects of the disease, while also highlighting effective preventive measures. Emphasis was laid on early detection, proper treatment, and spreading awareness at the community level. The session witnessed active participation from BAMS students and faculty members, who benefitted from the informative discussion.
