Recruitment preparation training camps for youths organized by CRPF concludes at Chanderkote

JAMMU, Mar 30: As a part of CRPF's social outreach initiative, the 84 Bn CRPF, under the aegis of Jammu Sector CRPF, organized two batches of 20 days training camps for the youths of Ramban district aspiring to join CAPF or Police. The objective of the camps was to create awareness, prepare both physically and academically, the young students for taking the various competitive exams conducted for recruitment in CAPF, JKP, etc.
The two camps were attended by 50 local youths. During the training, the youths were imparted physical training with the special focus on the physical parameters required in such recruitment exams. Guide books, copies, writing materials, T-shirts, Track pants and special diets were provided to all the participants. The closing function of both the camps was held on 30 Mar 26 and it was presided by Sh N Ranbir Singh Commandant, in the presence of Vikram Singh Second in Command, Asstt Cdt Inderjeet Singh, Shree Ram Meena, CRPF personnel and 50 local youths.
While addressing the gathering, the Commandant stated that CRPF intends to foster strong bond with the local populace and prepare youths for active contribution in nation-building. He appealed to the participants to prepare religiously for such exams so that they can join the CAPF and JKP to serve the nation. He emphasized the need to continue the tempo of preparation and also assured to organize follow up trainings till they take their recruitment exams. The local youths expressed their deep appreciation to the 84 Bn CRPF for organizing the recruitment training camp in Ramban area.
