| PDP felicitates Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura at Party Headquarters | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, Apr 4: The Habba Kadal Zone of the Jammu & Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) today organised a felicitation programme at the PDP Headquarters to honour Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura on his appointment as Organisation General Secretary. The programme was organised by former State Secretary and Constituency Incharge Habba Kadal Arif Laigroo along with the zone committee. The event was attended by senior party leaders including PDP General Secretary Mohammad Khursheed Alam, party spokesperson Iqbal Tramboo, District President Abdul Qayoom Bhat, former MLA Noor Mohammad Sheikh, District Coordinator Dr Ali Mohammad, Mohd Shafi Kundangar, Touseef Shah, Mohd Sultan, Bilal Naiku, Shakeel Ahmed, Farooq Ahmed, Adil Amin and Faheem Bhat. Speaking on the occasion, Mohammad Khursheed Alam congratulated Hanjura on his appointment and said that his experience and organisational acumen will play a vital role in strengthening the party structure across Jammu and Kashmir. He emphasised the need for unity among party workers and called for intensified public outreach to address the concerns of the people. Former State Secretary and Constituency Incharge Habba Kadal Arif Laigroo, in his press brief, thanked party president Mehbooba Mufti for her decision to appoint Hanjura as Organisation General Secretary. He stated that Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura is a dedicated grassroots member who has stood like a rock during challenging times, particularly after the Abrogation of Article 370. Laigroo added that Hanjura’s unwavering commitment and loyalty to the party have been exemplary and expressed confidence that he will further strengthen the party in length and breadth at the grassroots level across Jammu and Kashmir. Meanwhile, people from Shalteng and Sumbal also extended their heartfelt congratulations to Hanjura Sahib on his new responsibility and wished him success in his organisational role. |
