'I-NITIATE' 2-Week Entrepreneurship Programme for HEIs launches

JAMMU, Apr 4: The Indian Institute of Technology Jammu has announced a two-week hybrid entrepreneurship development programme aimed at fostering innovation and entrepreneurial thinking among students, faculty, and researchers from Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) across Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh. As part of the outreach, the institute will also host an online Open House session on 7th April to provide prospective applicants with detailed information on the programme structure, eligibility criteria, and application process.
The programme, titled I-NITIATE, jointly organized with Gopalakrishnan-Deshpande Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship (GDC - https://gdsiitm.org) IIT Madras, is a transformative two-week hybrid immersion designed to foster entrepreneurial thinking among academic faculty, researchers, and students, while strengthening their business acumen. It is open to early-stage as well as aspiring student and faculty entrepreneur teams, offering them a platform to transform innovative ideas into viable and impactful ventures.
Designed to ensure both accessibility and depth, the programme will combine online sessions with interactive engagements, enabling wider participation and meaningful learning outcomes. The programme will feature expert sessions, mentorship, and interactive discussions, providing practical insights into entrepreneurship.
