JAMMU, Apr 4: Chairman of JKPCC Kissan Congress, Bharat Priye, today paid obeisance at the revered Golden Temple and prayed for peace, prosperity, and overall well-being of the people of Jammu & Kashmir, with special focus on the farming community.
During his visit to the holy shrine, Bharat Priye sought divine blessings for harmony and stability in the Union Territory, emphasizing the urgent need to address the long-pending issues faced by farmers. He prayed for better agricultural conditions, timely support from the government, and improved livelihood opportunities for those dependent on farming.
Highlighting the hardships being faced by farmers in Jammu & Kashmir, he expressed concern over challenges such as erratic weather conditions, rising input costs, inadequate irrigation facilities, and delayed compensation for crop losses.
