| Khatana inaugurates Fly High Learning School in Araria, Bihar, calls for education-driven empowerment of minorities | | | ARARIA (BIHAR), Apr 4: Senior BJP leader and Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament Nominated, Er. Gulam Ali Khatana, on Saturday inaugurated the Fly High Learning School in Rashidabad, District of Araria, laying emphasis on the transformative role of education in uplifting marginalized communities. The event was attended by prominent educationists and public representatives, including Dr. Amanullah Madani, Director of Alfaiz Model Academy; Nizamuddin Madani, Director of Jamia Salafiya Miftahul Uloom; Firoz Alam Nadvi, Chairman of Faisal Educational Society; and Shamsher Alam, Vice Chairman and District Councillor, among others. Khatana was felicitated during the ceremony by Naiyar Azam, Director of Fly High Learning School. Addressing the gathering, Khatana expressed concern over the abysmal conditions of minorities in the remote pockets of Bihar, stressing that lack of education and awareness continues to hinder their socio-economic progress. He urged the community to come out of the clutches of outdated traditional constraints and adopt modern education and skill development. "The future belongs to those who are educated, skilled, and forward-looking," he said. Highlighting the initiatives of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Khatana said the government has launched several schemes aimed at improving the lives of minorities through education, skill development, entrepreneurship, and financial inclusion. He encouraged people to actively benefit from these opportunities. Khatana particularly called upon Muslim youth to participate in start-up initiatives under the Modi-led government, stating that innovation and entrepreneurship can pave the way for leadership in every sphere. "Muslims must join the mainstream and embrace modern education systems to achieve progress and recognition," he added. He also emphasized the importance of availing benefits from Central Government schemes meant for minorities, noting that awareness and proactive participation are essential for real empowerment. In a broader social message, Khatana remarked that any community that fails to tell its own stories and communicate its achievements to the wider society risks being left behind, underscoring the importance of narrative, awareness, and representation. Launching a sharp political critique, Khatana slammed the Congress party, holding it responsible for keeping the community backward. He alleged that parties like Congress and RJD have historically treated minorities merely as vote banks. "These parties have failed to genuinely address the concerns of minorities and have not even spoken constructively about their upliftment," he said. |
