| Hostel Mess facility for athletes inaugurated at Shrine Board Sports Complex | | |  Early Times Report
KATRA, Apr 4: In a significant step towards strengthening sports infrastructure and athlete welfare, a modern hostel mess facility for athletes of the Shrine Board Sports Complex, was inaugurated at Ashirwad Complex, by Sh. Sachin Kumar Vaishya, Chief Executive Officer, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB).
The newly established mess facility will cater to over 100 athletes from various sports disciplines, providing them with hygienic, nutritious and balanced meals. The menu has been scientifically designed by a qualified nutritionist of the Shrine Board to meet the dietary requirements of sportspersons and enhance their performance and overall well-being.
Speaking on the occasion, the CEO highlighted that the initiative reflects the Shrine Board's continued commitment to promoting sports culture and ensuring holistic development of athletes. He emphasized that proper nutrition plays a vital role in improving stamina, recovery, performance and the new facility will greatly benefit the resident athletes.
The CEO further stated that this initiative has been undertaken under the visionary leadership of Sh. Manoj Sinha, Hon'ble Chairman, SMVDSB, who has consistently stressed on developing world-class sports facilities and nurturing young talent.
The athletes and coaches expressed gratitude to the Shrine Board for providing such a dedicated and well-equipped facility, which will significantly contribute to their training and performance.
With this addition, the Shrine Board continues to expand its efforts in creating a comprehensive and supportive ecosystem for sports development in the region. |
