UDHAMPUR, Apr 10: Amrit Pal Singh-IPS today assumed charge as SSP Udhampur. On his arrival at District Police Headquarters Udhampur, he was accorded a ceremonial Guard of Honour and warmly welcomed by senior officers.
Soon after, he chaired an introductory meeting at DPL Udhampur to review the law & order and crime scenario of the district. All supervisory officers and SHOs attended the meeting where a brief presentation highlighted key challenges and priorities. SSP Udhampur stressed professionalism, integrity and people-friendly policing, directing officers to focus on public grievance redressal, eradication of drug menace, tackling militancy and upholding the rule of law.
The meeting was also attended by DySP Hqrs Udhampur, SDPO Ramnagar, SDPO Chenani, DySP PC Basantgarh, DySP PC Latti, DySP PC Udhampur, DySP DAR DPL udhampur, ADO DPO Udhampur, DySP (Prob.) Inspectors and other officers of District Police Udhampur. |
