Early Times Report REASI, Apr 12: Under the leadership of SSP Reasi Sh. Mukund Tibrewal, IPS, Reasi Police demonstrated promptness and professional efficiency by successfully solving a theft case within 12 hours of its reporting and apprehending the accused along with recovery of stolen property. A complaint regarding theft of valuable articles worth approximately ?2,20,000 was received at Police Station Bhawan. Acting swiftly, SHO Bhawan, Inspector Parmodh Singh Bajju, immediately constituted a team and launched a focused investigation. Through CCTV & Technical analysis, the team intercepted and arrested the accused. The accused has been identified as Sajjan Singh S/o Savinder Singh, resident of Guru Ramdass Nagar, Tajpur Road, Ludhiana. Upon his apprehension, the entire stolen property was successfully recovered from his possession. The operation was carried out under the supervision of Dy.SP Bhawan Sh. Mahesh Sharma, SP Katra Sh. Kameshwar Puri, . The accused is currently in police custody and further investigation is underway. In a separate action, Reasi Police has registered FIR No. 108/2026 under Section 223(a) at Police Station Katra against a pony handler, namely Kaka Singh S/o Kewal Singh, resident of Kakra, Tehsil Thakrakote, District Reasi, for operating without a valid registration card.
