Ravinder asks party workers to keep eye on voter list revision exercise

SUNDERBANI, Apr 12: Former MLC and Chief Spokesperson JKPCC Mr Ravinder Sharma has advised the party workers to keep close watch on the exercise undertaken by the Election authorities for the revision of voter lists and ensure only genuine voters are registered.
Addressing a largely attended workers meeting of prominent functionaries of Blocks Sunderbani, Devak and Siot at Sunderbani today, Mr Sharma also demanded that all dead ,double and factious voters should be deleted by the authorities and asked party cadres to keep an eye on the entire exercise of voter list revision and updating. Welcoming Several prominent persons into congress party, Mr Sharma said that Vote is a precious right which should not denied to anyone who is a genuine voter. Ravinder Sharma said that people will continue to suffer on many fronts and face lack of proper governance and accountability, till statehood is restored and asked people to join the Congress movement
He also referred to large scale unemployment and joblessness and demanded fast track recruitment besides regularisation of daily wagers, need based and all temporary, contractual employees.
Sharma also urged the government to asses the crop loss to the farmers and also sought timely availability of seed,fertilizer for next crop.He also demanded opening of an Anaj Mandi ( Wheat Procurement Mandi) at Sunderbani like in other parts of Jammu province.
Prominent persons joined Congress in the occasion under the leadership of Shri Ravinder Sharma. They included Om Parkash retired Lecture, Ex-ASI Om Parkash ,Munshi Ram, Sat Bhushan, Shalik Ram, Mohd Shabir & ors.
